The Kitchen at the painted petal
The Kitchen at The Painted Petal has been completely restored back to what it looked like when the house was completed in 1910. From the original farm sink to the chestnut cabinetry, 1920 GE double-door refrigerator, and Bengal Stove, you’ll love preparing meals the way your great grandparents did. Everything works!
If the period charm of the woodwork and appliances aren’t enough, you’ll kind the kitchen stocked with period-appropriate cookware and serving dishes, a 1910 folding kitchen table, and even a dumbwaiter that has been fully restored.
Please note that although the kitchen is completely modernized from a safety standpoint, there is a learning curve to using the stove – so if you don’t feel like you can operate a real gas bengal stove, we’ve got the latest from Our Kitchen to help you heat things up!
